Lagos the city of hustle bustle is not just mechanical as one thinks it to be! Before the industrial revolution and massive infrastructure in Lagos, the people living there a century or two before were declared brutes but now with the revival of African American literature and art one may think twice before giving such attributions. The city is filled with art and artist and it’s tough to pick a piece of art among so many good options. Therefore people, who aim at appreciating art of this city, must pick flights to Lagos without wasting time.

When it comes to art in Nigeria in general and Lagos in particular then you cannot avoid the worldwide famous “Nike Art Gallery” run by Nike Davies Okundaye who is not just an artist but the mother of the revival of folk manuscripts and African scriptural art.
